IF Elfsborg's U19 team won 8-1 against Eskilsminne IF on Saturday. This is the team's seventh consecutive win and they now lead the series with seven points ahead of Östers IF.

The team took the lead in the first minute when Nils Roström scored the opening goal. Eskilsminne equalized after a quarter of an hour, but then it was Elfsborg all the way. When half-time was reached, Hugo Lindskog had regained the lead for Elfsborg and just before half-time, Elfsborg scored two very important goals through Gabríel Snær Gunnarsson and Nils Roström's second goal of the day.

In the second half, the team continued to press and just nine minutes in, Adam Wetterlov scored the 5-1 goal. Elfsborg had a very good control of the game and the match. Towards the end of the match, Elfsborg was awarded a penalty which Vilmer Hill Lemburg successfully converted, before Roström scored the 7-1 goal a minute later. In the 83rd minute, he also scored the final result of 8-1 after another penalty was awarded.

This means that Elfsborg now has a seven-point lead over Östers IF, who are in second place. The next match for Elfsborg is against Husqvarna FF next Saturday away from home.
