Arbër Avni Zeneli, born on 25 February 1995 in Säter, is a professional footballer playing for Allsvenskan club IF Elfsborg. He has dual Swedish and Kosovar ties, having represented Sweden at youth international levels before switching to Kosovo's senior team. His brother Besfort Zeneli, born on 21 November 2002, also plays for Elfsborg and has represented Sweden in senior international football. Both share the same Kosovo Albanian heritage from Selac and developed through Elfsborg's youth system.

Siblings

Besfort Zeneli, born in Säter, shares the same Kosovo Albanian background as his brother. He progressed through Elfsborg's youth system and began his senior career there before moving to Belgium. Arbër chose Kosovo for senior international duty after playing for Sweden's youth teams, while Besfort represented Kosovo at under-21 level before opting for Sweden's senior squad.

Career

Zeneli started at Hälsinggårdens AIK before joining Elfsborg's youth academy in 2007. He won a Swedish Under-17 championship in 2011 and made his Allsvenskan debut in 2014. After two seasons with Elfsborg, he moved to Heerenveen in the Netherlands, where he played for three and a half seasons before transferring to France. His career was interrupted by serious knee injuries, and he returned to Elfsborg in 2024.
