IF Elfsborg is on its way to damallsvenskan under Ismet Turšić's leadership. The team has reached the top of the elite series with a 14-0 goal difference. Turšić means that the season has gone beyond expectations and that the team has still not conceded a goal. He means that it is a big challenge to establish a lasting women's football culture in Borås. Turšić has been coach for IF Elfsborg since 2023 and has previously worked as youth coordinator at Norrby and as instructor at Flickakademin. He is also student support coordinator at Särlaskolan in Borås.
